Keep It True 16
Hi Friends,
Another edition of KEEP IT TRUE is history and what a great one it was. Many thanks to all our fans who supported us. We have experienced historical performances during that weekend…these were nights to remember.
For the people who attended KIT 2012 we already announced three additional bands and now we have another one. So here we go:
HOLOCAUST (UK)
After the amazing show of John Mortimer with Roxxcalibur at the NWOBHM show we immediately booked the whole HOLOCAUST band with an old school set for KIT 2013.
LEGEND (UK)
This band from the Jersey Islands we one of the most requested bands for KIT and after their reunion show we were able to get them for our 2013 edition with their first ever German show.
QUARTZ (UK)
QUARTZ were one of the earliest bands of the NWOBHM movement and influenced a lot of bands coming out later. We are happy we could book them for KIT 2013. One of the best bands of the NWOBHM scene.
AIR RAID (SWE)
These Swedes are one of the best newcomers right now and impressed us a lot with their first EP out on Stormspell records. They are a perfect fit for KIT 2013.
We could already sell almost 75% of the tickets for next year, but you can still get your ticket easily through these mailorders:
www.nuclearblast.de
At Nuclear Blast you can get also an exclusive Package with a festival shirt from this years KIT in sizes L or XL. Here are the direct links:

I'll be there for sure. Highlights will hopefully be Steel Prophet, Air Raid and Razorwyre.
October 31, Toranaga, Borrowed Time and Attic are other bands I'll watch.
Once again, my big hope for a headliner is Metal Church with Mike Howe. And a Riot-show with the remaining members would make me shit my pants.

The one missing in Quartz is the vocalist. Pretty decent replacement it seems though. Satan's Serenade live 2011
Round up ELIXIR for a co-headline slot. There are several strong reasons for doing so.
1) Lately they've been performing these "special Sons of Odin" shows with the album in its entirety, which they should also do on KIT. Said album is one of the most bonafide underground metal classics from which I'd truly enjoy to hear each and every song played live.
2) They have the complete original lineup. No half assed revamps.
3) Their latest album kicks major ass. Few if any returncoat bands have produced new material this good. Tracks like "All Hallows Eve" and "Samhain" will sit in very well with the old material.

Chroming Rose “Pressure” LP found!
Haha, I was listening to "Alters Of Madness" earlier on the drive home so the band was stuck in my head. I obviously meant Morbid Saintsagrotan wrote:just thought for a second something will go completely wrongAvenger wrote:Morbid Angel

In fact the singer was already in the band in the 80ies after the last album, so he is no newcomer, too..GJ wrote:The one missing in Quartz is the vocalist. Pretty decent replacement it seems though. Satan's Serenade live 2011
