SENTINEL - Demo 1986 + Live & Rehearsal
7" colored vinyl + pro-pressed CD, 12-page booklet, unique packaging
Limited to 400 copies on green vinyl / 100 copies on green-yellow split vinyl

TMU RECORDS proudly presents this hidden Texas gem on colored 7" vinyl - accompanied by a 13-track bonus CD containing a complete live gig from 1986 plus previously unheard rehearsal tracks and radio interview. Also comes with a 12-page booklet full of rare photos, show flyers, and extensive interview with founding members/guitarists Steve Larsen & Buddy Forsythe.

Sentinel's 1986 demo has been praised by John Perez (Solitude Aeturnus/Brainticket Records) as a "perfect example of pure, raw underground Texas heavy speed metal!" & Laurent Remadier of long-running Snakpit Magazine called Sentinel "angry, heavy, devastating classic Texas metal!"

Simply made my day! Ordered it and Final Vengeance while I was at it, forgot to order that one! FYI it was a bit hard finding the Final Vengeance title on the website to add to the shopping card from the Sentinel page.

This demo is great indeed. Too bad this re-issue is only availible on vinyl...

I guess I can't complain too much though because you did put out the Final Assault / Vengeance stuff on CD.

DOH! the 7" tracks are already on cd, why would he need to redo it again?:

I actually own this compilation.

I just don't want to have to purchase the vinyl to get the live gig bonus CD.

But if that's what I have to do to then it's worth it to support this great website/label.

I love the old Texan scene.

Thanks for the kind words & support!

You could probably sell or trade the 7" if you're not a fan of that format.

parcel arrived. Nice looking package, I hope this is a sign of more vinyl to come, maybe Baron Steele? The booklet is very nice for a 7". Looking at what this must cost to manufacture I guess it must be pretty high.
