Post by Satannick »

Hey guys! The CAUCHEMAR 12" EP is finally out! The CD version should be back from press in about 2 weeks - and European distros (High Roller Records, Iron Tyrant + others) will have copies of the LP very soon.

Cheers and thanks alot for the support!!

Feeding the Canadian metal flame, CAUCHEMAR plays haunted doomy metal with French vocals and a heavy occult vibe. Their first release, “La vierge noire” MLP, includes 5 songs of ancient metal darkness. The warm, unpolished production and the eerie atmosphere will transport you to the darkest parts of antique cemeteries. Pounding rhythmic percussion, earthy guitar tones, mystical female vocals and intricate changes in textures in this record open a new passageway to the soul of pure metal.

I would buy this immediately if I had the money. Perhaps you will send one to me for free out of the goodness of your heart. If not I'll just wait.

I got a copy of this the other day and it really took me by surprise. It doesn't sound all that 'doomy' to my ears, rather classy old heavy metal with an occult touch and very endearing female vocals and French lyrics. Killer guitar tone as well.

If anyone considered getting this but hasn't done so, I can highly recommend adding it to your collection.
