New bands, new releases, new metallic events, reissues, post-millenia-Metal in general...

The j card of the LP tape says the following:

1.Crimson Streets
2.Out Of The Night
3.Heaven's Just Another Way
4.Obsession
5.The Challenge
6.Creating Zero
7.Ra Pariah
8.Bane Of The Black Sword
9.Coming Of Age / Rukkus
10.March Of Fire
11.To Be A Hero

OPM release does not include Creating Zero and the titles are wrong on some tracks as for example March of fire on the LP is actually Coming Of Age / Rukkus and To Be A Hero is actually March Of Fire etc.

I agree, if the material was released at any point before it was re-issued then it does not count as a "New release".

I like some of Twisted Tower Dire too but not perhaps enough to deem it classic

True. It's somewhat hard to say yet. At least about the albums released in the last five years.

Only one of those was released in the '00s.

I really, really like the three crusty new Darkthrone-albums. Nice to see some originality in sound and the lyrics are downright charming. Can't pick a favorite. I'm really surprised there's not more raving, must be about comfort zones.

How come Atlantis Rising gets more acclaim than Gates Of Fire? To my ears, the latter has better riffs, less one-dimensional production and better concept/lyrics.

Quite difficult but I'd say from the top of my head:

Chainsaw - The Journey Into the Heart of Darkness
Impellitteri - Wicked Maiden
Communic - Waves of Visual Decay
Ravage - The End of Tomorrow
Burning Black - Prisoners of Steel
DIO - Killing The Dragon [RIP]
Holy Dragons - Labirint Illuzij
Zool - Zool
Xiron - A Matter of Gray
