Those are some really nice new songs, I especially liked When Tomorrow Is Calling and Beneath The Earth I Lay.

Shall these new demo tracks be interpreted as there being a new Quicksand Dream album being written (on and off)?

Nah, they were just lying around... :D

Final Journey and Beneath... were demo tracks Patrick found wouldn't fit for Mortalicum so I rehearsed them in my car and then recorded the vocals back in early January of 2010 (we did two more songs that same day).

When Tomorrow is Calling was probably recorded in 2001 (at least my vocals were). Just a one-off try out.

If we decide to do another QD album's worth of material it will probably be all new stuff.

Darn it, I got my hopes up for nothing :( Thanks for the info. :D

Aelin is one of my favorite post-00 albums, so tell Patrick to get writing :P

Your vocals have certainly gotten better since you blokes did that Quicksand Dream album, which was already very cool! Hopefully we'll continue to get material from QD

You're both much too kind. About the vocals - guess I'm a late bloomer.

I hope you get around to doing another Quicksand Dream album. This was pretty nice and your vocals seem to be improving all the time, so a new release should be very welcome.

The trick is starting out on a really low level: http://evilconfrontationrecords.bandcam ... o-the-dust

Cheers Knut! Soon a mere month 'til KIT!

Just played the QD-album for the first time, and I liked it! This one will get some spins in the car for the next couple of days.
I'm only at the third track on the Epic Irae-cd, but I feel it's pretty safe to say that I prefer Quicksand Dream.
You should really record a new album, and bring them along for the next KIT, GJ. Guess you will get some CD's sold at the Becksteiner Rebenhof :D

Nah, we'll make it an EP to avoid the massive queues! ;)

Just got a message from PB btw, tiny things might be in the making...

Thanks for the support & kind words! Feel free to use the skip button when things are getting too embarrassing. :D

Confirmed for Up The Hammers next year. It would be rude not to go!

I'm really gonna try to make it to Up the Hammers next year! Both QD albums are fantastic, and it will be a joy to witness some of the songs live!
