I wanted to celebrate my 2000th post, so here's a new cd porn thread with some of my rarest USA cds... there is an intruder among these, let's see who can spot it
Uncompromising war on metallic modernism under the dictatorship of The Corroseum.

Everything is available for a price.Heathen wrote:I think if someone wasn't lucky enough to get the eternal-holy-grails like Impact, Telepathy, Drop Dead before now, he'll certainly won't get them in the future. Time passes, its harder and harder. Unless they do a "Silence"
It's unlikely for those specific 3, but could happen for others =)Heathen wrote:I think if someone wasn't lucky enough to get the eternal-holy-grails like Impact, Telepathy, Drop Dead before now, he'll certainly won't get them in the future. This is a contradiction then, somewhat, because first you complain that it's almost impossible to find certain cds (so I guess this leads to some kind of frustration), but you underline that it's the strenght that motivates you ? So you are driven forward by frustration ?Heathen wrote:I beg to disagree, the point of collecting is always think about what you are missing This is what drives us forward.
I understand what Heathen is saying though.Helstar wrote:This is a contradiction then, somewhat, because first you complain that it's almost impossible to find certain cds (so I guess this leads to some kind of frustration), but you underline that it's the strenght that motivates you ? You are trying to be too smart for your own good. I am hunting for a whole lot of CDs, the ones that are impossible to find are only a small percentage. And even then there is always hope for a miracle. Happy hunting.Helstar wrote: This is a contradiction then, somewhat, because first you complain that it's almost impossible to find certain cds (so I guess this leads to some kind of frustration), but you underline that it's the strenght that motivates you ? This is exactly what i said. You don't even reserve 1 second to enjoy those top scores (which most collectors out there will never find) 'cause you have your mind 100% set on those you are missing, leading to frustration as years go by (as some other people got or found them and you don't etc.), but isn't more sane to have a 50-50 attitude (=enjoying what you have while still looking for the next scores ? That's what i meant dear Heathen !)Totalthrash wrote: I used to always think about Impact and Evil Sinner because those two were my most wanted CDs. I finally was able to get them
so now I think about some other obscure CDs that I want.
