Could you tell me that the Ugra Karma is on CD or it's a CD-R?
Thanks!!!
It's a CD-R....With a paperprint on the label side. Very strange, considering the huge amount of cheap bootlegs pressed in Asia that are on better quality cds. But then again, in Nepal music shops sell lots of cd-r copies of famous bands. Don't think there has ever been another press of it. It's poorly done, so I hope it will survive the time.
The music is great....like old school South American death/thrash/black.
Here are some pics I took for someone else who once asked:

Hello! Just a few minutes ago I got this from a member of the band:
"hails zola,
the ugrakarma album "blood METAL initiation" was released in 2001 by a label called CDing International. It was released in CD as well as tapes. the CDs were all factory pressed with the band logo in red and black on the cd.. but i am sure there are quite a few pirated copies of that album all over the world. i have even seen a cd with a completely different artwork on it. that was probably sold by some pirate somewhere. one reason to do this might be because the original pressed CDs are no longer available."
Yeah, I'm pretty sure he describes the cd I have. CD-R's can be official factory pressings as well (just look at the recent Morbid Saint cd released by the band), they're just a cheaper option. Also, cd factorys might be slightly different over there considering their bootleg industry, so his definitions might be different. The one I have is by the same "label" and have black and red on the cd backside. I was there and picked it up randomly in 2003, so there's a good chance mine is the original one. You could try to send him the pictures I posted and ask if the factory pressed cds were silver pressed cds or cd-r's. Well, I'm curious about it too.
hails,
what you have here is the real stuff. that's how we released it. at least it looks like it. cd with the band logo and the sleeve with lyrics, pics and liner notes. I am pretty sure that the quality wasn't good compared to european releases but that's part of the story.
unfortunately i myself don't have the original CD anymore. i'll try to find if there's anyone around that still has it.

I can see it from time to time to some local record fairs but generally it is not toooooo easy to find even here. Nevertheless, I don't think it is too expensive, as Chatzial said.
