Someone I know is bound to have those Target CD's collecting dust in a box, those guys come from my town and surroundings. Just have to find that someone! Glad I collect thrash records and not CD's, bought that one for €5 at KIT.
Their singer now plays in some bluesband by the way.

I have the early 90s re- of the Stonehouse Creek hard rock album from the early 70s. The CD actually goes for almost the same as the original vinyl nowadays ($100+). A great album.

A friend of mine picked up an original ARTCH - For The Sake Of Mankind CD a while back (no, not the 2CD reissue). I wonder if this is as rare as the LP, or even more rare? Or could it have been a bootleg?

No, it's not the ordinary cheapo, but it's not worthy more than cca $30 either.

I'm 100% sure that a friend of mine who is heavily into death metal has this one on cd, can't believe, what a stupid price for a cd. I also have a lot of those "not seen for many years" old death metal cd's, I think I throw them all on ebay some time 8)

On the subject of rare Swedish DM cds: A huge fave and a release I'm really glad I managed to get a copy of is UTUMNO's "Across The Horizon" MCD. The label went broke after it was released and didn't even bother to send the band copies at the time. Since then (92-93 I think) it's been a complete nightmare to find. I really fucking worship their music - every single song is a masterpiece on this one and musically it's very different from your standard Swe-DM, more classic/epic Metal vibes but not at all in a "Gothenburg"-way. Time for an upload perhaps?

incredibly great CD and great band. Very underrated.

Also the Excruciate has some decent songs with a nice guitar tone. I once bought both CDs for less than 10 euros.

Sadly both were never released on vinyl. Would have ruled even more ;)
