A very nice comp, lots of cool tracks on this, thanks DaN!

I had not heard this Proud Existence track before, it became a highlight on the comp for me, I really enjoyed the rest of it as well, except for Snyper... What's up with that one?

The overall quality of that Accent song was a great surprise for me.

Really enjoying the 4th collection already, 3-4 songs in... no losers here. Entertaining tunes.

Feuerstein... another addition to my Deutsche gesungen playlist I'm trying to put together... Merlin, Breslau, Formel Eins etc

Hey Nick, if you don't have these already they're all worthy buys if you wanna score more "Deutsche gesungen" Steel:

http://thecorroseum.org/comps/hardheavy.html
http://thecorroseum.org/comps/rockbilanz89.html

..and let's research ACCENT!

You're right, I need that Heavy News comp (physically). Der Zauberer is a class track. Its definitely in my best of german sung metal playlist/pseudo comp.

The whole Merlin radio productions and live trax from the 80's are "classic stuff". The east german Helloween.
Btw. what should that "Deutsche gesungen" mean?

"Deutsche" is nothing but a handful of german people, you got 1 german guy = 1 Deutscher and many german guys are many "Deutsche".
That what you 're trying unsuccessful to refer to is called simply "deutsch" (gesungen = sung in german).

Beßerwißer :P

...but about the CBR label, I found 2 more comps at discogs:

http://www.discogs.com/Various--Herzlic ... se/6187082
http://www.discogs.com/Various-The-Beas ... se/4471222

Any idea if those also include proper HM?

Have finally gave a listen to CCC4 as well - two to be correct. Killer cuts from PSYCHOSE, BASILISK, DREQUON, ACCENT and BABEL. I like WRECKAGE as well and many others are quite good, too.

Even this is wrong ... lol
Using "ß" is no longer valid since we have had that orthography reform, just in certain cases when the vowel is spoken long like in "Straße" (street). In all other cases like "Faß", "naß", "Haß" etc. we write now an "ss" => "Fass", "nass", "Hass", "Besserwisser".
Sorry for the lesson, but that is part of my job, I have to read all printing products like books etc ... and I have to add boring mostly christian crap.

I don't have these, but "The Beast" is in my wants. It contains a Jesters Palace track (I think Burning Ambition and Lazy Wizzard are Hard Rock/Metal too, Gnadenlos is rockish Hard Rock), and this band is also featured on the "Hart und genau" LP. They are playing kinda Prog/Hard Rock with a bit Metal. The Bloody Mary on that compilation is boring Hard Rock of the worst kind! Only Ruhrpott (great Hard Rock) and Eternity (epic metallic semi-ballad) are listenable. The whole rest is Pop Rock. I think even 3 Euros are too much for this LP.
The A-side of "Schwarz auf Weiß" LP has with Black Velvet, Gnadenlos, Steelwood and Vatermörder some Hard and Kraut Rock. Bloody Mary track is ok here. B-side is poprockish except of the Agent Orange (Metal) track.

The "Herzlich Willkommen" LP I didn't buy as the band/tracklist doesn't appears Hard Rockish to me. Will be for sure more Pop/Rock crap that nobody here needs.

Since when is this valid? I know for "besser", but exchanging "ß" for "ss" is new to me ...
