Never heard this one before. Looks interesting. Is there a rip available?

Not that I know of, though I'm sure plenty of the harvested demos have rips floating around.

The 'No Glam Fags' crossed out circle logo is a work of artistic genius, what on earth is going on with the arm holding the hairspray can?
Thank you anonymous '90's illustrator, i needed a chuckle this morning & that did the trick good & proper.

Yeah, I'm definitely familiar with some of the bands but from the descriptions it seems a lot of what's on this compilation is of similar style so it's piqued my interest.

Unfortunately I'm not capable of ripping cassettes at the moment or I would help you out.

About the 1987 Battleaxe split 7''

I surely listened to this day (and by far) sloppier things than Kes.

The composition is weak yes, but there were around worser musicians than these (and that have a following here it seems)...

Just came across an obscure local german compilation:
http://www.ebay.de/itm/F045-Rock-in-der ... Sw0UdXvCc-

Nothing special but for collectors of that kind of shit quite interesting, especially since all copies are cheap.

you can listen to all bands here:

Thanx a lot for the tip - I wasn't aware of this one. The one qualifying Metal band was pretty bad but as a whole the LP definitely belongs in the encyclopedia.

I'm curious, do you (or anyone else) have this in your collection? Since the music is available on-line all I need is good photos of the sleeve to add it.

After some googling I noticed this album is part of a yearly series, so all info on the other volumes is very welcomed.

Yes, I just received my 2 Euro copy yesterday ...
But I'm not interested in the other parts of the series, as they are only available on CD then after this vinyl plus I'm not interested in 90's "Metal" outputs. A few exceptions excluded but most of the vinyls are just horribly modern crap.

Unless i'm deaf - i don't hear any metal output (even less 80's sounding output) either on this compilation - sorry to say my opinion.

And when i remember you criticizing anyone who likes the Hammer Witch MLP ........

I would spare instead those 2 euros on a coffee...... or a ice cream....haha
