Beyond belief
Hi, guys! It's really me - Raoul Sanchez, the one who's mentioned here. First of all, I'd like to say really BIG thanks to all those, who took up my intiative, continued my job and made come true things I really never dreamt of. I mean the creation of the most complete labels collection ever. The work done is amazing, it's simply beyond belief.
BTW, I've dug up some more labels data, which you (actually, all of us) don't have. Here's what I have and can share with you:
- Aggressive Rock
- Aurophon (the 90's CD-versions of GAMA-releases)
- Bacillus
- Earache (early releases of that label are undoubtedly noteworthy)
- Laserlight (another 90's CD-versions of GAMA-releases)
- Music For Nations (Huge catalogue)
- Nuclear Blast (see Earache)
- Powerage
- Raw Power
- Rough Justice
- Steamhammer (Huge catalogue)
- Under One Flag (Huge catalogue)
- We Bite
- West Virginia (the label of Holy Moses' Andy Classen)
- Zebra
Huh?! Looks good?

Hey Raoul! I mailed you shortly after the initial launch of the new label section but never heard back from you. Great to hear you're pleased w/ the result. We should definitely compare notes on some of those other labels. For instance I've got an almost-finished Steamhammer-page I really could use some help with. I'll pm you later today.

I did actually closed my older mail-box a while ago because of the huge amounts of spam coming in. Now I have new, functioning mail-box.DaN wrote:I mailed you shortly after the initial launch of the new label section but never heard back from you.
"Pleased" is hardly an adequate word to describe my admiration It's fantastic what you've done.DaN wrote:Great to hear you're pleased w/ the result.
No problem, let's do it.DaN wrote:We should definitely compare notes on some of those other labels. For instance I've got an almost-finished Steamhammer-page I really could use some help with. I'll pm you later today.

My metal vinyl collection
If anyone is interested, here
http://www.real-audio.ru/measurements/collection/a.html
one can have a look at my vinyl collection. All you have to do to browse thru it, is just change the letter before the last dot from "a" to "z". There's more than 500 LPs in total - please, don't hesitate to ask about anything. I don't sell my vinyl, but it would be my pleasure to comment on a particular LP.
I do also have a lot of CD's, but don't have any catalogue right now
My biggest source of music is still my tapes archive, counting more than 1500 cassettes, recorded from LP's during late 80's and early 90's Here's how it looks like

Yes, I'm sort of "old-fashioned" in many aspects of life - I'm listening to, preferably, 80's Metal, listening strongly in STEREO, I don't accept subwoofers, multichannel and other home-theater related stuff, I own JAPANESE hi-fi exclusively (no chinese/taiwanese hi-end fraud!), I still use cassettes and video-tapes, the CD's constitute the least part of my musical collection, I've bought DVD-player quite recently
This is my "metal system" #1 - pure audio, 3-amped, EQ-lizable:

By profession I'm an audio-engineer. Add to this the passion for Japanese Hi-Fi gear of the 70's and the 80's.
