This one in the Iron Works list:
IW 1034 - Persia s/t [a.k.a.] First Strike (?) MLP/CD 1991
I'm pretty sure it only exists as MCD, not on vinyl. Is there anyone out there who has it on vinyl?
I think I asked Dave Richards when I purchased the MCD via ebay from him, and he said there was no vinyl. Though it has been years ago ... and I ask alot of people for their releases.

You're probably right - don't know where that note came from. Cheers for the correction - fixed.Prowler wrote:This one in the Iron Works list:

For Greenworld GWC90527 Divine Rite "First Rite" Cassette release contains 2 bonus tracks not on either vinyl release titles are "Long Distance Call" and "Struggle" and here's a press release from 1984 that I found http://www.mediafire.com/file/j2v06racp ... s-9-84.pdf it's explain some of the history of both Greenworld and Enigma.

A small Rumble Records page has been added. I've also started with a long overdue project of adding comments and micro-reviews to the titles in the labels index. I expect to finish in the late winter of 2027, so if I'm running late with updates around Xmas 2026, feel free to remind me.

Sweet Pain and Tigertailz stick out like a sore thumb in Combat's back catalogue. Not that these bands were absolutely atrocious as they have a couple of minor redeeming qualities but they definitely don't fit in with the rest. I guess every label had to dabble in the glam scene so some extent.

I've now finished reworking the Heavy Metal Records page, adding:
,
and
...none of which are particularly "Heavy Metal" at all to be honest, but now you know.

DaN, i just finished checking out the reworked Heavy Metal Records page & your line about Jim Dandy & Black Oak Arkansas 'The Black Attack Is Back' had me in stitches:
I could say they sound like Thor fronted by Mark Shelton, but then you'd piss your pants faster than I could add "..minus the Metal".
I needed that chuckle, many thanks.
Accurate too, i can't say as i ever considered Shelton & Dandy sounding alike before but now that you point it out there are some definite similarities in their voices.
Now i'm fantasising about Shelton & co. giving 'Mutants Of The Monster' a try.
