WISHBONE Records
Labelnumber for the OVERKILL MLP is ;

In my book it's from 1984 ! But i don't remeber where i have this information from ! There is nothing on the record or vinyl !

But this could eventually be the first Record of WISHBONE !?!?!

Seems the Rockport label will be a mess to follow. Do you (tbieri) or anyone else have a clue about how large a part of their early output were Metal/HR? Same with Energy. If it's less than half it feels really uninspiring to continue w/ that label. I'm putting up a STOP-sign on Rockport until we've done some more research and come up with a good way to catalogue the Metal stuff.

Same thing with Bellaphon/Bacillus really. As I understand it Bellaphon were both a label and a distributor with a majority of non-Metal releases (for instance, some Metal Enterprises records also carry the Bellaphon logo)

Interesting that about BRAINSTORM. I'll put them at the top for now.

Edit: Cheers Peter! One mystery less - a thousand to go...

Did all updates except those Energy-thingies. The Bellaphon- and Rockport-discogs are now officially on hold. Just google the label names and see why.. :(

Seems that Rockport did some Kraut Rock in the Beginning ! Look here :
http://rateyourmusic.com/label/rockport_records/
There are not too many but this List is not complete at all !

The Label seems to be still active ! And they still are selling some of the old Records !
http://www.rockport-shop.de/shop/

ENERGY seems to be a Pure Hard Rock/Metal Label.
Under the ENERGY-Logo on the Covers you can read "THE HEAVY ROCKPORT LABEL"

Bacillus made a LOT of non Metal Records ! Look here :
http://rateyourmusic.com/label/bacillus_records/

Read the History ! Obviously Bacillus was not part of Bellaphon since the beginning ! But you also can read a big Bullshit there :
"In the 1980s the Bacillus label wasn't used for any new releases. " Hello ???

I think it was distributed but not released by them, like a couple of other titles.

@tbier: Great resarch. I'll probably do an Energy-list in the near future then.

Cheers! Let me know if you can fill any holes or correct any errors.

Just added New Renaissance Records. I could use some help w/ stuff like tape bonus tracks, colored vinyls, CD releases, a few holes etc.. if anyone's in the know...

I just read the introduction about Pentagram Records and now it's finally clear to me why both Phantom Lord and Devil Childe have some riffs that are identical to certain Pentagram riffs.
PL: I'm in H.E.A.T. (Pentagram - Drive me to the grave on sub-basement)
DC: Grave robber (one of the uptempo songs on Relentless)

The Ladykillers comp has 2 bonus tracks on the cassette: Deep Freeze - "No Last Words" and Hellion - "Put the Hammer Down".

Also, you spelled Terrahsphere wrong.
