Peter Ott has them covered on his MASSIVE Label List: http://www.geocities.com/peterott/labels.html#W5The Sentinel wrote:Is the Wild Rags label also welcome? They released some very great stuff.
Far from a fave label of mine to be honest.
3 more labels added tonight: Megaton, Mongol Horde and Moshroom.
Btw, perhaps some of our resident CD-collectors care to update me on which releases also came out on CD. That is, no later reissues, but the ones that were released at the same time as the vinyls. I'm sure I've missed tons of those.

Thanx. Are you sure this is the Megaton-version then? I know of another pressing with just a black sleeve with an M-80 logo in red on the front and wasn't quite sure which was the right one.
Not sure how long I will make the HMR-list. So much crap was released in the 90's and onward I probably made it too long already. Cheers anyway.
You might be right. I don't own those releases and haven't heard them in years. I figure if they're at least Hard Rock and not pure aor/fm rock/westcoast etc.. they'll have to do. Exactly how wimpy would you say these particular releases are?Black Axe wrote:I was scrolling through the Neat Records list and noticed only a few of the non metal bands are commented as such. Bands like Jess Cox, Emerson and Valhalla should get the same treatment.

@Rob: It's such an insane idea it's almost tempting. This would take a HUGE amount of time to put together and would have to involve several other collectors though. Not this summer please.
@tbieri: You've done it again A golden pentagram to you. Site updated.
Did you check if that M-80 cover was the right one, i.e. the Megaton pressing?
...and the Metal Blade page is now finished. For the moment.

They are, Emerson and Valhalla are in the Tobruk vein and Jess Cox is bluesy hard rock. But definitely not metal and the Valhalla song Still In Love With You is about as wimpy as they get.DaN wrote:You might be right. I don't own those releases and haven't heard them in years.
