I think the photographer decides if something is a top item. If he/she truly loves the record and cherishes it, for whichever reason you can think of (the music, the cover, the rarity, sentimental value, ...) it can be on the pictures.

There are tons ok killer items like this, unfortunately not in metal. But there are really a hundred German Schlager compilations with nice 70's style naked babes...I will dig for those!
