With the current dollar to euro rate I tend to avoid looking for stuff on ebay.com.
Other thing is that I stopped buying rare vinyls a few months ago and switched to CD reissues almost exclusively so I am not certain what it looks like nowadays. Are prices for rarities falling? Last such items I bought were Metalwolf and Mental Powers for around $50 and $20 repsectively, which didn't seem much to me.

Well, some records that 1, 2 or 3 years ago reached huge prices have fallen back to rather "normal" prices (far below 100 $), but some of those records that showed up on german ebay reached a much higher price than the same album sold on ebay.com. And yeah, the recent Dollar rate is disastrous if you're looking for bargains especially with $ 39 postage costs that some sellers do ask for! I still haven't figured out the excuses of those as they really insist on these rates.

Probably not interesting to most around here, but anyway. 80ies (Demo)tapes from South america are hard to come by in general, but only 50 copies of these were made, in Colombia in 1989 of all countries (and time periods) you wouldn't think any one of these survived. But here is my copy, grubby as hell and kinda moldy, though fully playable:

this is demo 39 / 50, it says

Thanks for scanning that. I do like how strange that Reencarnación demo is.

The early recordings of Reencarnacion surely belong to my all time favorites. Yeah, the inlay design and its condition definately fit to that noise on the tape, which is why I scanned that one  I also got Dioses Muertos from 1987 which is pretty much like an even rougher version of the 1988 album, no real surprise.

Have a harder time getting along with their later stuff though, Egipto '96 is some sort of psych/noise rock with midi sampling and world music mixed in. Sounds like Piolin took a bit too much of the Alucinogenos back then.

Here is another rare one, the Bellzlleb "Guerrilla" promo 1991. Only sold at a single store together with the first 50 copies of the Mr.Ree CD:

Wish I could say it's that good though. I really like what they did until the Section II-album, this one is more like an opener or intermezzo and doesn't feel like an actual song. Still has that creepy vibe you can hear on the first two albums but I have real mixed feelings about this. Still cool to own, though!

Here is another one I really like, a later Imperator - Deathlive demo release with several extra live tracks added in:

Pretty sure some parts were sped up which isn't so uncommon especially with polish demo tapes, which makes it sound even more fucked up and noisy. I really dig the collage on the backside, check out the madman look on Bariel!
This one is also extra special because it has a personal, super drunk greet to Euronymous of Mayhem by the band added in the end of side B, also complaining they did not get to play a gig with them in 1988. Not sure if this actually used to be a personal copy of Euronymous as I don't really remember where I got that one from anymore, but it's really funny...

I love Salem up to Kaddish/Dying Embers. Here are their tapes I got, both live demos & an advance copy w/ band photo for the then upcoming Creating Our Sins EP handmade by Ze'ev Tananboim:

Destruction Til Death is one of my all time favorite demos. If anyone got some of their older shirts for sale or even the '86 demo, let me know!

Nice to se some demo tapes here, especially that Reencarnacion (I need it badly).

Here some favorites:

Abhorer (Singapore) - Rumpus Of The Undead, Original demo 1989 with original lyric insert and photo.
Love this one, one of the best extreme demos of all time.
Image

Morrbid Death (Belgium) - Demo-niac, Original demo 1989 with original bio, it has a hand written letter from a band member on the back.
KILLER Demo!.

Nice! :) Curious about Morbid Death, never heard about this one before!

I also got Abhorer, but without those really cool extras. I agree; some of the best asian extreme metal. Do you happen to own the official '91 rehearsal as well or maybe a rip/dub? I've seen it only once on auction many years ago and missed it...

Here the sickest peruvian stuff:

Hades (Perú) - Altar Of Sacrifice, original 1989 demo, took me many years to find it. The best peruvian demo and one of the best from S.A.
The band was contacted by euronymous to release a Hadez LP on DSP, but it was all frustrated for obvious reasons.
Image

Necrofucker (Perú) - Demencia Precoz, original 1989 demo, this is pre-Anal Vomit, very rare and rotten death metal.
Image

Feretro (Perú) - Live Demo 1990, Original demo and maybe the rarest one I own, never seen a copy.
Ridiculous bad-killer, listen to this track: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vim4rqbf--0
The funny part is what the vocalist says before play the song.

Sweet :) I have Extreme Badness On The World '92 and of course Aquelarre, love their kind of noisy Black/Death/Grind! I'd like to get the older demos, but yeah, they are tough finds indeed...

Just checked up on Necrofucker & Feretro, really cool! Feretro is almost inaudible except the vocals, I still dig it somehow ;). Necrofucker though is seriously deranged sounding. Anal Vomit were always kind of alright, but this one's way more interesting to me. Reminds me of brazilian noisemongers Necrofago in a way..

Not unknown but excellent stuff from the neighborhood:

pre-Deathrow band, this is their first rehearsal from 1985 which was entirely instrumental and already really good.
The inlay is a crude mixture of xerox and handwriting - also check out the fucked up label on the tape. Between 10-20 copies were spread by the band themselves. I think you can now find this recording on one of the Deathrow reissues.

I have an old Salem demo t-shirt I can part with, The one with a graveyard on the front.
