Post by Glockose »

I have a question, How manyPRIVATE USA METAL LP's from mid 80's are there that Sell for $20-$30??

I don't mean Azra, Auburn..... REALLY PRIVATE

Even if they suck they sell for more then $30 if they are METAL.

AOR, HARD ROCK don't count.

Let me know what is out there

Depends on who's selling them and what price the seller decides to sell it for.

Well, since 99% of these sales are done with collector/resale value in mind, it is only logical that the music has nothing to do with it, and as a result most of those albums are more or less an overpriced duds... (musicwise)

With the magic word "private" in the description, the market automatically assumes a price of $30++.

You could try the Snakebyte EP, it's dropped considerably in price. I got mine for $10. Still, not an LP.

Matakopas, $40-50
Thrills Galore, $15-25
Street Toyz, $15-25

Runner,
Disciple, $25-35 (should be more since no Qty ever showed up, but not very good)
Sidinex, $35-40
Victim, $15-25 (for Power Hungry, the first one though it a little harder $40-50)
Destoyer, $20-30
Foreplay $15-25 (for any of them I think there are 4 and they are all in the price range)...

Why did you edit your post Kuntz?

Also Sidinex is not a US band...

I would call these Glam Metal
These days they get grouped in with AOR but in the 80's they were Wimpy Glam Metal.

I don't know what happened, I was quoting Sgt.Kuntz's post and I couldn't see my reply...
Maybe I had pushed the 'edit' button accidentally (seen only when you are a mod), if something like that happened, I apologize. The post you see as Sgt.Kuntz's is actually mine. Either way the old post of Kuntz is probably lost now. Again, I'm sorry in case it was my fault.

I re-edited Kuntz's post. Here's what I had written:

Shit like STREET TOYZ and THRILLS GALLORE are advertised as metal, that's the core of the problem for me.
