As i like the idea of the "shop methode" of stacking records with the shelves, i'm more into the "wall of records"typeDaN wrote:That's actually RSC from Poland (great proggy Hard Rock!) since Poland comes after GermanyNoisenik wrote:I see Mekong Delta in a crate left from Endless Pain ...
Other examples of when record collecting is going a bit too far is welcomed, real or imaginary...

Married w/ children, but we've compromised. The wife gets room for about a hundred plants + first say in decorating the rest of the apartment. I couldn't stand using the "wall of records" method 'cause you never get to actually see your stuff. Being able to flip through your collection is much more inspiring. Also, I still haven't come up with a solution to the problem of the sleeves coming out of the plastics when you store them that way.martinsane wrote:Oh to be single and have space of my own to do as I wish with.
Yes, the flipping of records is way cooler by farDaN wrote:Married w/ children, but we've compromised. Darn. Whenever I'm not paying enough attention, I miss the target entirely. Would never have thought you own Polish heavy prog, although you made that eastern Euro Metal compendium. Next to it is Fear Of the Dark or I see wrong again?DaN wrote:That's actually RSC from Poland (great proggy Hard Rock!) since Poland comes after GermanyNoisenik wrote:I see Mekong Delta in a crate left from Endless Pain ...
Kudos for you and yours and the compromise. We moved 4 and half years ago into a smaller home and my collection is still in boxes. I do go stare at the boxes, move them about and wonder about the contents from time to time. If there was a spare room I suspect I could get my stuff unpacked.DaN wrote:Married w/ children, but we've compromised.
