Since I knew the discussion would turn out like that, I'd clearly state in my first post that I don't think Dead Serios are the godfathers of Metal, but solid US Metal indeed as Doomedplanet said.
Don't know where Priamos that hilarious band pic found (obviously a very modern pic) and to give him his soul's peace ( ) this was Dead Serios looking in the mid 80's (ok, the guy in the middle indeed looks like on the wrong place):

However if we judge the music of a band by the way the musicians did look, then feel free ALL OF YOU to throw away your beloved German Metal vinyls! haha

Or this:

I always loved the song, but now when I see how they did look, I'll never listen.

Haz looks amazing but when I listened to it at Dan's place some years ago it sounded pretty bad. Not in the same league as Resistencia, Arkangel... But still a great collector's piece! Congratulations!

Was a buy-now auction. Not very cheap, but not sooo expensive either. And free postage included ...
Condition is quite good for such an old record from Venezuela.

I heard some soundclips somewhere and I agree, they didnt sound impressive. Still worth hunting for the stunning cover and obscurity alone, at least for that collector nerd that I am.

...and the 2nd HAZ lp still seems IMPOSSIBLE to find. This one could actually have some cool content, but that's only from translating some song titles.

up left: Brunel - 7" 1980 / below right: J.D. Wildcats

PS: Does anyone know if the J.D. Wildcats are british or US american?
Bought it from an UK seller but he sells US stuff too and they do not sound that die-hard british either (Glam Metal).

I think J.D. Wildcats must have been Brits as the EP was produced by Lol Cooper who also worked on records by Rox, Dragonslayer & Sam Thunder. According to Discogs he was also the owner of the Cavalier Studios in Stockport, so the EP was likely recorded there.

Thanx for the info, I just wanted to get sure. Already marked them as british in my have-list.
That Arena 7" is also quite listenable british Melodic Metal, but I think it came with PS, while mine didn't have it. :(
