Recent Metal Finds (2015)
Re: Recent Metal Finds (2015)
They tend to do nice things yes. When I was a teenager they did tell me a few times that it was just a phase, that I'd be selling those records by the time I turned 20 etc. But they never forbade me anything (except going to see Immortal, Vader, Deicide,…when I was 13. Still bummed) and actually drove me to gigs on a few occasions. My dad kept a ranking on how tough the crowd looked.

Cool dad you have there. I remember searching for records at the annual flee market in my village ; my dad approached me with these kind words : "Stay out of those boxes, you idiot!!

Ah, that's too bad. I had my suspicions that they may sound like that from the way they were dressed.Prowler wrote:Glam/Sleaze/Hard Rock, absolutely not my cup of tea.
You can't win 'em all.
I cannot, I shall not, I will not obey.

I just bought it because I once saw it offered at ebay as "private Metal" for a quite high price but seriously, in which universe is this band Metal?bigfootkit wrote:Ah, that's too bad. The other UK Glam Metal/Sleaze 12" of Tattooed Love Boys that I recently bought sound way better and heavier. They totally changed their style on the debut album which is awful.
It's not easy to be the Antichrist ...

Yes that was a disappointing record fair. The only metal-related stuff I have found there is:Zombie Dance wrote:Boring fair in Esch/Alzette (Luxembourg). Still quite a few stuff that missed in my collection.
HARD STUFF - Bulletproof. Gatefold version on Purple Records. Great album

No worries man, hopefully more of the same next year!
Concerning the fold-out table : I'm actually surprised that it survived the festival. I've lost already two of those on earlier festivals
