If:
a) it was in jewel case
b) there were sound samples available
c) these samples sounded nice

I'd buy it myself.

If you said 'unjustly overlooked' I would agree. But 'totally unknown' means something entirely different...

Ask to 100 other guys and let's see if the % of those who knew this mcd before these posts was over 5% (=at least 5 people out of 100) ? With this low % is it enough to say that the mcd was generally unknown ? Or maybe it has to be literally 0% ?
Ps. It's not that we are talking about a masterpiece anyway, eh. It's good, but I almost prefer the 2 Odyssey cds from the Warepire list, just saying :P

It's a slim jewel case, comes with OBI. Can produce some samples tomorrow.

Anything good on those radio station comp albums?
The Texan ones always seem to hold lots of potential for Metal, Hard Rock & Southern Rock finds, so the 'Houston Home Cookin'' LP caught my eye/imagination in particular.
I cannot, I shall not, I will not obey.

looks like your copy of the "Rocket: Caught in Steel" record seems to be in better shape than my copy, lol.

I quite like Mariner - "I'm Alone" from WTUE Homegrown II. You can listen to it here:
http://www.wtue.com/media/podcast-wtue- ... -20553683/

Elsewhere on that LP there is a bunch of boogie and southern rock, and this one from Bramble which I think you'll appreciate:

I haven't actually had a chance to listen to any of the other radio comps yet so I'll just tell you what I know from the tracklistings. Houston Home Cookin has an exclusive track by Oz Knozz, "Destiny" by Toyz (from their 45), and some other promising looking track titles such as U.S. Steal - "Don't Stop", Lowboy - "Pistol Annie", and Longshot - "Hooker". Rock To Riches II has Warhead - "Street Survivors" from their 45, but I don't recognize any of the other artists. The Rock-Off 88 LP is not technically a radio comp but it has 2 exclusive tracks from Trooper, whose "In The Dark" single is rather good.
