Just a few rarities that have come into my possession over the last few months, but there seems to be zero into about them on the internet.

Glacier - Misc. Rehearsals 83 - 85
I have a friend who's only 21, but our bands play lots of shows together, and I recently found out that his Dad was an original member of Glacier, and a few weeks later, this rehearsal cassette was handed to me. It has a handful of practice recordings from 1983 - 1985, and songs can be heard in various stages.

Gargoyle - s/t

I got this from the same guy, and it's a version of the s/t full length that was given out to friends before the release on New Renaissance. Obviously, the cover is different, and is just xerox copied. The recording sounds like the same mix, but has a different track order, so I can only assume that the label decided to create a different tracklist.

Diamond Edge - Opaque Reality

1995 demo tape from the same band that released the Head Above Water EP a few years earlier. I full understand why I can't find any info about the other two tapes, but it puzzles me as to why the internet has zero info about this one at all. Info about Head Above Water is scattered across numerous sites and message boards, so I thought I would be able to find something.

And here's a closeup of the Glacier rehearsal track listing.

Sweet items! I'd love to get my hands on an original copy of the Ready For Battle demo by Glacier.

This should probably be merged with the collector porn thread (vinyl, tapes version).

I wish I could score a copy of that demo too. I had an extra copy of the 1988 demo that I actually sold recently.

At some point in the next few weeks, I'll rip that rehearsal cassette to mp3, and post it to Heavy Metal Rarities and my blog - http://pdxunderground.blogspot.com/

Great blog, need to listen closer there, though I did get that Savior album, damn didn't know it existed! though they sure changed their style. I have an original of that "The Face of Adversity" demo, I bought it when it was new. I should have a dub of the "Twist of Fate" demo here somewhere, though the last time I looked for it I could not find it, ugh.
