Re: Peruvian metal?
Hadez is fucking awesome... "Aquelarre" is great!!! It's sicker than INRI for sure. Iron Pegasus used to have some ads saying it sounds like "INRI in a torture chamber," and that's a totally accurate description.peterott wrote: Hadez - their Aquarelle CD on Brutal Records was most probably the first extreme Metal CD from this counrtry. Horrible booklet layout which doesn't fit at all in the jewel case. I wonder if this is only in my CD ? Also similar to Sarcofago. If you like INRI, you like this Hadez release.
Some people seem to have problems with the vocals on "Even if You Die a Thousand Times," but I think that record is great and the vocals are sick and tormented as hell! I haven't heard the latest record, but I should check it out soon. Hadez are at the top of the Peruvian scene for me.
My brother-in-law has been living in Peru for a long time now, and I'd ask him to check into local metal for me, but the guy's a missionary with his head up Jesus' ass, so there's no luck there. Nice dude, but he wouldn't buy Hadez vinyls for me, I'm sure of it, hehe.

Looks like a good start. Do you know if they are ONLY gonna concentrate on Black/Death/Thrash stuff or will they add any old traditional HM bands in the future?MetalizeR wrote:Check this web with interviews and reviews from only 80s Metal bands from Peru

Check the band Almas Inmortales, they put a interview of Sacra but the page is incomplete now, the bands Mazo and Brebaje are HM too.DaN wrote:Looks like a good start. Indeed COBRA is killer and in the doom metal field REINO ERMITANO is definitely a highlight with a very good female singer!

A friend of mine saw REINO ERMITANO at DOOM SHALL RISE, I envy him, because it seemed to have been a very good live band as well.

Kranium dont play that songs anymore, they return to his Death Metal roots.roihlem wrote:Don`t know many bands from Peru, but Kranium is my favourite. Very original Doom/ Death Metal. The track "Guerreros" is a masterpiece.
Check this band:
