Liechtenstein, Luxemburg, Andorra and other tiny European countries?

Post by DaN »

Anyone ever come across anything of interest from countries like these? I've checked the usual resources (MA, discogs etc) but haven't really found too much. Melodic hardrockers JITNEY from Liechtenstein are OK - reviewed here - and this Heavy/proto-Metal album by COOL FEET from Luxenburg '76 is pretty cool:

...but other than that I'm drawing blanks.

Not sure if this counts, but here's some feral black metal from Monaco

I lived in Luxembour and still works there, not much heavy metal-wise, I thought the cd of Funeral Pyre was ok, though it's pretty late. Good heavy Metal nonetheless.

I know there were also two non-LP 45s by Cool Feet recorded prior to that LP. Apparently they're in the same style but i've never heard them personally.
Perhaps Nemesis from Guernsey in the Channel Islands is the type of band you seek?
They released this EP in the late 80's which i haven't heard for years, but i remember thinking it was alright.

In the late 70's, there was a band named COOL FEET in Luxemburg, they released an album but, if my memories are good, it was more hard-rock than metal.
