I agree. Modern mastering practises make it unlistenable. But there's still the occasional engineer who knows what he's doing.
And old CD masterings were just bliss. I've spent god knows how much on replacing crap modern CDs with the originals.

I think that High Roller generally do a pretty good job with both their cd & vinyl reissues.

I suppose, if you want one, get one. If you dont, then don't. Seems like alot of strife over something like a reissue.
