You may want to check out:
Sacrilege (UK) - Behind the Realms of Madness LP
Antisect - Out From The Void 7" and later live tapes
Varukers - One Struggle One Fight LP
Concrete Sox
Nausea (New York, not the L.A. band)
Black Uniforms (Sweden)
etc.
Maybe some Amebix, Hellbastard, Deviated Instinct, etc if you like slower stuff...

Civilised Society?
Type it in youtube, their first two albums come up first. The first one has 4 or 5 punk songs, the rest metal, the second is metal with Crass type vocals in parts (apparently they also had a 3rd album and some demos).
Also thought some of the Vice Squad sounded a bit metal, especially the "Stand Strong Stand Proud" album, maybe more the vocals than the music, and also some of their newer material.
Not British, but some of the Lunachicks' and L7's material is metal sounding.

Try this:

I always thought they do sound like an early punkish Sacrilege/Onslaught clone. I like the album ...
or this:
https://www.discogs.com/Alternative-Att ... se/1104237
... the description "Punk" is wrong imo ... it's more Thrash ...

Phew ... music sounds alright but to me those vocals are quite a bit unbearable ... he sounds a bit too "happy" ...

Annihilated demos are super punk then they turned thrash, same with Onslaught. Also Legion of Parasites "prison of life" and "dawn to dust", Ad Nauseum "the greatest show on earth", Anti System "take a look at life", Alternative Attack, Maniac, Desecrators. The Varukers "one struggle one fight" gets pretty fucking metal at times too.I have been a huge Varukers and UK punk fan in general since I was a teen and a lot of those bands went pretty metal if they didn't go goth or more "77" sounding ala Clash/Heartbreakers. Also a lot of Italian hardcore from the 80s has a lot of metallic riff age and guitar work. Oh yeah also Vendetta (Finland) "search in the darkness" and Rattus "stolen life" are great post Finnish hc attempts at speed/thrash as well.

Old thread and not sure these are exactly similar to the ones mentioned by the OP, but there's some really good and hardcore punk out there that bears more than a passing similarity to what was happening in metal at about the same time:
AGENT ORANGE - Living in Darkness (1981)
charming surf/punk/heavy metal-mix with a very pleasing production
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=isNJ_lRzav8
AMEBIX - Arise! (1986)
totally epic crust punk, imaginative band that sadly lost their ways after the fullength debut.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kE7YoeVB6us
CRO-MAGS - The Age of Quarrel (1986)
if you can get past the obnoxious vocals...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkITlCa-r6k
MISFITS - Earth A.D./Wolf's Blood (1983)
arguably their most feral release.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BzpqUMg ... wmsvQjxLj_
SACRILEGE - Behind the Realms of Madness (1985)
allegedly big influence on the mighty BOLT THROWER.

RANDOM CONFLICT from Huntsville Alabama might be up your street, they've been going for decades & have a pretty varied discography sonically speaking, but i particularly enjoy their 'Black List' EP from a few years back.
Punk as fuck, heavy as hell, really well played & produced and the songs are great.
Try this track with it's strong Poison Idea-esque edge:
RANDOM CONFLICT - Less Than All Is Nothing:

Crash Box (Italy): Finale Lp
Massacre (Finland): the 3rd CD in the boxset "From Punk to the Grave" with the latest crossover stuff: Cd 3 - The Metal Years 1987-1988
also Disciplinatha (Italy)'s first album has some good thrash-speed moments too as well as Fall Out (also from Italy)'s "Mondo Criminale" if I remember well

A very known non-obscure classic, but truly in the punk/metal vein you’re looking for: Poison Idea « Feel the darkness ».

Damage (FI) - Immortal Death has plenty of hardcore influences, despite most often being labelled as speed/thrash.
