Suitable Metal to listen to in the car ...
... while driving to and from work.
chatzial post from another thread has given me idea for this one. I think we didn't have such topic yet, I may be wrong though.
Based on my and others experience, not every Metal sub-genre is suitable while driving in general, and esp. while driving home from work. One of my friends crashed two times bcs of studying Dream Theater and Death solos while driving home from work. I also "went wide" a few times, fortunately without consequences, and it was only Bay area stuff. Also makes me forget to keep the distance on the highway, LOL. What would you suggest? To listen to more average stuff without known or killer riffs? Prog is lightly excluded.

US metal - thrash - NWOBHM, that's what I listen to mostly in my car. Less death metal, much less black and small doses of crust/hc/punk every once in a while.
Good against Evil, Evil sure to win

Yeah. Looks like the cover of a home-made compilation cd-r containing obscure 80s Eastern Bloc-metal...Herkus Monte wrote:Off the top of my head:
Running Wild - Black Hand Inn
Motorhead - Ace of Spades
Noisehunter - Spell of Noise
Rotor - Tepj Szet...
Maybe also Accept - Russian Roullette
Generally something relatively fast, rocking and not necessarily aggressive.
Oh my God, that new logo
