Re: OLD METAL ZINES!
I'm sure there was some talk about trying to set up an archive of old zines on here a long time ago.thundersteel wrote:Hello I wonder if there is a website from which i could download some old fanzines/magazines on PDF, on strappados and corroseum it seems like they are all deadlinks so i would be grateful greetings!!
I can't recall if anything was ever posted however and the search function is playing silly buggers tonight so i can't have a look right now.
Here's some links i found to various vintage Metal mags in PDF format which may be of interest to you;
KERRANG! (Issues 1-50):
http://www.pdfmagaz.in/search/kerrang
The same site also has;
ENFER (Issues 1-12):
http://www.pdfmagaz.in/search/enfer
HARD ROCK (Issues 1-16):
http://www.pdfmagaz.in/search/hard+rock
CRASH (Various Mixed Issues 85-87):
http://www.pdfmagaz.in/search/crash
LIVE WIRE (Various Mixed Issues Mid-80s):
http://www.pdfmagaz.in/search/live+wire
ROCK POWER (Various Mixed Issues 1984-1986):
http://www.pdfmagaz.in/search/rock+power
and here's a one-off TERRORIZER 'occult' Special from earlier this year which may be of interest because it has pieces on Sabbath, Mercyful Fate, Hell, Bathory, Venom etc.
TERRORIZER Presents THE DEVIL'S MUSIC:
http://www.pdfmagaz.in/02205009-the-dev ... -may-2013/
and here's a SOUNDS Special i found elsewhere which is devoted entirely to BLACK SABBATH from 1982;
SOUNDS Fan Library No.8:

Credit to the original posters.
No Passwords required.
Bear in mind, these old mags were in a variety of different languages.
The only ones in English from that lot are the Kerrangs, the Terrorizer Special and the Sabbath Special.
Enfer was in French, and the others are in German.
Should keep you going 'til someone else can chip in with some more obscure titles.
Enjoy.

Just tried downloading the Kerrang, and it worked fine for me.
Click on 'download from Novafile'.
Then scroll down to the bottom of the Novafile download page.
On the left hand side of the page click on the 'slow download' button, and away you go.
Hope it works for you.
