Yeah, I hate that song too. It was played at the funeral of a friend of mine some 20 years ago. That made the song even more shitty.

Sunday R-Mine Metalfest in Tongeren, Belgium : Cloven Hoof, Tygers Of Pan Tang, Holocaust, Savage, Hell, Demon, Drakkar (B), Tank (with Doogie), Attic...

Fallen ill...no go...dammit! :x

I don't mind it. Reminds me of that film Dazed & Confused.

Not metal but I'm heading to ZZ Top tonight. I've never seen them before. I'm really looking forward to it.

I attended this with my band this past weekend and it has been one of the festivals I have enjoyed the most lately, yeah the whole atmosphere made it good besides bands.
Steel Assassin, Dantesco, Coven(13),Twisted Tower Dire and even James Rivera solo band had amazing sets(plus the sound was really good and clear)Flotsam had a a good set too, I wish they would play more old songs....and the surprise for me was Wulhook, for fans of american power heavy metal, very good band!

Tonight NAPALM DEATH and NEW MORALITY (hardcore punk) at Antwerp Metal Fest. Afterparty with BODY CUNT (Body Count-coverband). Sounds like a fun summer evening to me! :D

Went to see the all-female Black Sabbath-coverband NIGHTWITCHES (damn...that bass player...what a woman!!!) and the AC/DC-coverband IC/TC yesterday at the Gentse Feesten in the cool hipster club Charlatan. In between the two bands we heard some guitar noise on the other side of the club. Apparently, KARMA TO BURN was playing a surprise gig over there. Great night out!

Next one : BRUTAL TRUTH and EYEHATEGOD, also in Ghent.

Metallica in Shanghai on the 13th. Not expecting miracles but the setlist isn't awful.
