Transilience - Mouthful of Buildings

Super strange and obscure tape I found on a trip to New Orleans. Think of a mix of Voivod and Calhoun Conquer, taken to the next degree of weirdness, and that's something like Transilience. With titles like "TION=shun", "Climacteric Midmode", "The Obliquity of Society", and "CIRCUSuitry", you might have an idea of how this one plays out.

Found it on bandcamp, pretty cool stuff. Definitely weird. Is it a demo or a pro tape? I see it's been reissued on CD.

It's a pro tape. The fact that I can't find anymore releases on "Tapestry Platypus" Records leads me to believe it's a private/self-released deal. I had no idea what it was of course, but the interesting artwork/titles inspired me to pick it up. It's... interesting, at least, with some weird lyrics as well. The vocalist/guitarist is also nicknamed 'Spooky' according to the insert

The bassist also went on to record abstract techno under the name DJ Paedofile.
