Your soundtrack for the zombie apocalypse

Post by King Zombie »

So as I was reading the comic called "The Walking Dead" the idea of making a thread like this crossed my mind. For example, I've liked zombies since I was a child and also I believe there is an strong connection between my like for them and for death metal; to the point of being almost certain zombies are the reason why I like the genre. So, if you were about to experience the world's demise which songs would you choose for the occasion?

IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE DEATH METAL NECESARILY

My (incomplete) List so far:

Death – Evil Dead (Album)
Carnage – Torn Apart (Demo)
Macabre End – Spawn of Flesh
Benediction – Unfound Mortality
Necronomicon – Possessed by Evil
Cannibal Corpse – Hammer Smash Face
Burial – Presumed Dead
Goddefied – Left to Die
Brutality – When the sky turns black
Bulldozer – Insurrection of the living damned
Bolt Thrower – World Eater
Obituary – Slowly we rot
Sepultura – Arise
Crematory – Chunks of Flesh
Unleashed – The Final Silence
Deicide - Trifixion
Demigod – As I Behold I Despise
Entombed – Bitter Loss
Bathory – Necromansy
Grave – Extremely Rotten Flesh
Feretrum – Carnal Destruction
Autopsy – Dead
Necrophagia – Season of the dead
Mercyful Fate – Evil
Possessed – Death Metal

I like zombies more than Death Metal, but you can find the first without the latter here:

RIPPER - Wake the dead
WICKED ANGEL (Can) - Dusk to dawn
MANIMALS - White zombie
ABATTOIR - Screams from the grave
HELL - Land of the living dead
EXORCIST - Queen of the dead
DEATH SS - Zombie
MERCYFUL FATE - Doomed by the living dead
SAINT VITUS - Zombie hunger

INFERNAL MAJESTY's "March Of The Living Dead" was the first anthem that popped up in my head. It's so... Militant! :D

Anything with Black Hole!

Exodus - And Then There Were None
Hallows Eve - Tales of Terror
Hexenhaus - Death Walks Among Us
Jesters of Destiny - Diggin' that Grave
MORBID SAINT - Scars
Overkill - Rotten to the core
Without evil there could be no good so it must be good to be evil sometimes.

I'd choose any Saint Vitus with Reagers
Graf Spee - Self Destruction & Reincarnation
Black Hole (Both albums)
Paul Chain - Ash

And non metal stuff like Goblin's Dawn Of The Dead theme (already mentioned), Necronomicon and some classical music

CORONER - Reborn Through Hate
PAUL CHAIN VIOLET THEATRE - Armaggedon

And yes, the Walking Dead comic book kicks ass.

I'm picturing a slightly tongue in cheek Zombie Apocalypse, so these get my seal of approval :

JOSEFUS - Dead Man
SLAYER - Reborn
MANILLA ROAD - Up From The Crypt
KREATOR - Ripping Corpse
DEAD BOYS - Caught With The Meat In Your Mouth
BLACK SABBATH - Children Of The Grave
CLOVEN HOOF - March Of The Damned
THE PLEASUREPAIN - Zombie Jerk
NUCLEAR ASSAULT - Brain Dead
ZEKE - Evil Dead
