Not familiar with any of those. Have been looking for a chance to hear the Rare Breed and Rude Awakening; don't suppose anyone can post those 2?

I have heard RUDE AWAKENING. It's nwobhm-ish US metal. Average and amateurish.

SACRED SWORD is crappy glammy metal. Forget about it.

Haven't heard the others.

i have s.sword and also their 2nd one(only cd release which is even worse, but with different guitarist than the first one). some of those who give bad name to US metal. but hey, it's free peanuts, so no problemo.

i've also managed to listen to 2 s.moon trax. i couldn't have the courage to listen to the whole lp.

This is the only one I've heard. Jan Svanhill brought a few copies to a Swedish fair a while back and me + a friend took one each in trade. Very disappointing considering the sleeve art & title, yes, but 2-3 songs are sort of charming. It's quite diverse in style and the primitive & messed up vibe would be its only redeeming features. Could have made a pretty cool 7" I guess..

Moved to Into Battle since it's more music-related..

Hard to say.

If they were French for example they could still be pretty Metal dispite the glam image.

Unless wearing Poison level of makeup, I don't judge 80's bands until I hear them.

Well, Sinful managed to be better sounding than they looked. Here's hoping these did too.

You had it right this time. Sacred S-Word, more like. Wankers.

I definitely agree that Sacred Sword are garbage. I was just mentioning that in general the appearance of 80's bands isn't a guarantee of how heavy they play.

Nothing worse then layered, group sung vocals during the chorus. Almost cringe worthy.

I guess song titles like "Summer Heat" are a much better indicator

In the early/mid 80's, bands with this look could still be cool. Not so this time.
