I can't hear what it is but you're probably onto something. It should refer to the re-forging of Narsil.
Its definitely something like "It tempts them once again" or "It tips the balance again".

Thanks for the kind words everyone.
Regarding my first "??? sky/skies" (some hear darkened/blackened, but I don't) - I think it might refer to a location, but I can't discern which.
I am quite aware of the problem with the first line of the chorus! But I couldn't come up with anything better.
And the second ??? is quite impossible to hear, due to the high falsetto. Something about reforging the Narsil/Andúril seems to fit though. I might give the song a second listen when I get home from work.

I had a revelation while at work. Could the chorus be:
Ring forged in Mordor's fire
Ringwraiths shall find you
Bearer of Sauron's ring
In darkness he shall b(l)ind you

So, anyone deciphered the last part of the song???, I still cannot understand that part.
Also, searching for ARC on this same forum, found a pair of topics where there's an idea of a re-issue is mentioned. Nothing happened with that???

Listening to the original version of "War Of The Ring", on the "Raiders of the Lost ARC" compilation, the original chorus was indeed
One Ring to rule them all
One Ring to find them
One Ring to bring them all
and in the darkness bind them
Perhaps they changed it for fear of being sued by Tolkiens relatives for copyright infringement?
And DAMN, what a great compilation this is!
