i think stone vengeance have the most overtly christian lyrics out of all those mentioned
Well, I like Black Death a lot but the gospel beggining of Fear No Evil indicates that they're pretty much a Christian band to me. And if I'm not wrong Black Death is also some sort of account of a Bible story. All this from bits that I've been able to pick up from the lyrics without it being my first language so there might be misinterpretations from my part.Sgt. I'm not convinced about BALCK DEATH though, they might be just a little bit too much over the top (or even comical) to be a christian band.
I was listening to that yesterday, yeah, I think they were Christian, in their own way anyways. Probably piss off a lot of Christians with certain things as well.Sgt. I like "Surrender" and "Intense Defense" but this is definately AOR.Nasty Uwe wrote:I like JOSHUA "Surrender" (1986) a lot even though it is quite commercial stuff (except the outstanding "Hold on").
Need to get "The hand is quicker than the eye" (1983) record.
Anyone else into JOSHUA?
