I finally got around to looking at this thread. Interesting comments, especially VIRUS “"Pray For War" . Good album, I guess dirty raw thrash isn't always appreciated.
EUDOXIS “Open Fire” was mentioned, damn I love this completely underrated record. Very technical, quite different than the 12” and I never get tired of it.
Transmetal "Desear un Funeral” I like a lot, their early albums are variable but still quite good. Maybe if I spoke Spanish I wouldn’t like they lyrics, hard to say, but otherwise they used to be quite good.

Just heard Torn Flesh on myspace, not so hot…guess that meets the definition of terrible.

Laaz Rockit was mention, unfortunately if you are including the first lp into the mix I have to completely disagree, since I absolutely love this record and have to consider it one of the most influential metal band for me as I heard “Citys Gonna Burn” right around the first time I heard Powerslave when I was 14.

Crumbsuckers also was mentioned, such a killer band, always put them kind of in the crossover category but they were completely unique and killer.

I mentioned Crumbsuckers, but the B.O.M.B. album, I kinda liked Life Of Dreams and I was expecting something more in that vein, wich B.O.M.B. wasn't.

I know some of these have been mentioned, but they completely suck:

BITTER END-Harsh Realities
WRATHCHILD AMERICA-everything!!!!
BLOOD FEAST-Chopping Block Blues (a pity coz this band had so much potential especially after releasing the amazing Face Fate EP :()
EVICTION-The World Is Hours Away
DRAGON (Pol)-whilst I quite like them & have most albums, they are nothing amazing..and not for everday listening.
SUCKSPEED-the name says it all!
MELIAH RAGE - nothing special either.

I'm with you on the Eviction album. It's a big cringe. To think one of them was in Dream Death! The second Blood Feast I don't think is so terrible, though. The problem isn't necessarily the material - it's just that they lost the viciousness of their earlier stuff. Good Mighty Sphincter cover!

Anybody mentioned the Italian CREEPIN' DEATH? I was all hyped up in my tape trading days to get their demo, and when I did, I thought it sucked to high hell!

You mean the "No Privation" demo? Yeah, nothing special, but listenable. I thought the trend was about their first band, Black Evil, whom I unfortunately never listened to...

These are pretty damn horrible:

TAURUS (bra) - pornography and Trapped in Lies albums
But their debut is one of the best ever
EROS (bra) - Road to Wisdom lp
ATTOMICA (bra) - limits of insanity lp
But first and third albums are fantastic!
HOLOCAUSTO (bra) - Blocked minds

Yeah, what was with the Robert-Smith-sings-"Mesmerised" vocals on that Holocausto album?

I'd nominate the Brazilian Witchhammer's The First & the Last as well. Just really weak.

Although it's heavily influenced by Megadeth, i like it a lot.
