LADYKILLERS from vintage Kerrang!
Not sure if this is the right place for this topic, so feel free to move it if you don't think it fits the bill DaN.
I was reminiscing the other day with a friend who reminded me about the old "Ladykillers" feature which Kerrang! ran sporadically during the '80's.
I'm sure many of you remember the feature fondly, an excuse to run lascivious pics of the hottest girls in Metal bands with a little text to justify the "what's wrong with being sexy?" photos.
I remember the likes of Anne Boleyn, Mary Anne Scandiffinio, Betsy Weiss etc appearing, and wondered if anyone knew of a site with scans from the feature? Or perhaps someone would be good enough to scan the ones they have?
Perhaps put together a gallery for the Corroseum?
Just for old times sake of course.

Would be great if someone could do the scans. I remember I had a few over my bed when I was a youngster living at home with my parents. Great stuff for a twelve year old boy. Was Lee Aaron one of the lady killers?
Unfortunately, almost all my old metal magazines remained there when I moved away 20 years ago. Can't imagine my mum and dad kept them around.

I know I ain't doing much,
doing nothing means a lot to me.

Maybe because most of them are totally forgettable (musically so) - there were loads of not very metal girls there methinks.bigfootkit wrote:I'm pretty sure Lee Aaron was featured in Ladykillers, i've been racking my brains trying to remember some of the other girls from that feature, but i'm drawing a big fat blank at the moment.
I'll take a look for the hell of it...GJ wrote:I have loads of old Kerrang! magazines back home so I guess I could go through them and scan them and put them on imageshack. I have to explain to my wife what the fuck I'm doing it for though...
I won't make this a priority though. How eager are you? How many of you are there?
Why not?

It would be great to see them again like knuthulu, my pubescent bedroom was decorated with them, so there are fond memories there.GJ wrote:I have loads of old Kerrang! magazines back home so I guess I could go through them and scan them and put them on imageshack. By all means blame me when it comes to explaining scanning the pics, all my married friends use me as the scapegoat with their wives!
I know that this Vixen site has some scans from Ladykillers. Sorry, that's the best I can do.
