Yes, one could guess those rough manly chicks didn't even bother bleaching their bum holes back then.

On a serious note, I did post these pictures mainly for their nostalgical value and even for a laugh. Not for judgement. These pictorial series may have been sexist (in a pseudo aware way - "look at me I am laughing at my sexist comments so I cannot be sexist") in it's nature and I kind of rather laugh at this than at the girls pictured (I realize the texts on these pages cannot be read due to low resolution so my point may be hard to see  ). Anyway if you find something funny you can always tell the world about this - but also bear in mind all of us being humans, having hearts and so on...

And... sorry for being such a pussy!

Ah such memories - these girls were my heroes. I went through a spate of collecting Vixen vinyl and The_Elite kindly scored me a whole batch of ladykillers vinyl and videos; everything from Phantom Blue to Lisa fucking Dominique.

So, this is why I came across this thread, I searched for Pantara because I'm desperately trying to find anything about any releases they did, it's impossible to google them because you only get hits from some band from Texas with a similar name and they're not on Metal Archives or YouTube :(

anyone shed some light?

What a difference word order makes, huh? I'd have loved back then to be fucking Lisa Dominique but I never wanted to be Lisa fucking Dominique.
I know I ain't doing much,
doing nothing means a lot to me.

Haha, forgot about this one. Maybe I should pull out another batch of these ladies in leather and lace? (for us old, sloppy, balding men)

Pantara - was a band from NY right - the ones with "torn Away" ?
there's a all male band and a all female band between 1984-1986 on the NY area.

Wasn't also the Ohio Metal collector (BloodofChrist in M.A.) looking for information on some Pantara from Cleveland or Cincinatti ?

In the context of this discussion, i think the mention of 'Pantera' was in reference to Thor's sidekick (wife?), Pantera, who appeared as a Kerrang! 'Lady Killer'.
I cannot, I shall not, I will not obey.

She was in one issue, but Gina from Pantara was in issue 115 (3/6/86).

Yes, the NY/NJ one. And because it wasn't confusing enough there was also another Pantera from Detroit.

The Ohio Pantara released one 7":
