Highway Chile - Run, Run

"...put your leather jacket on, which your hair in combs, let your feelings out, and call your latest scouts...

ANGEL WITCH - Frontal Assault

I've heard it this way for years.

Satan is coming
No warning at all
There's nowhere to run to

Can you pledge a toe?
You might see Jon Pertwee
As he strikes with his schlong

Rejoicing in triumph
He steps through the dung

Jon Pertwee prepares to "strike with his schlong".

"He strikes with his schlong"?!?! That's amazing. Are you sure those are not the correct lyrics? Probably should be.

I don't know what the correct lyrics are, but if my reading of the words turns out to be correct then it marks something of a stylistic shift to say the least.

Every time I listen to Running Wild - Bad to the Bone...

"Pounding the world with a fish of steel!"

BORROWED TIME - Midnight Tygers

A really nice slice of modern day Diamond Head worship, but the lyrics unfortunately are largely unintelligible.
I sat down earlier and tried my damndest to pick out the correct words, but instead I was left with this bizarre & amusing William Burroughs-esque slab of drug-addled beat poetry...

Loopy and I'm sagging
She's gonna borrow burning soldiers
Nobody brought my brain
I swim with bees to feel the pain

Evil lawns and evil fields
The GameBoys on the trays
I saw their eyes, saw their veins
Trench trouble now each day

So search for leeches, yes
Sometimes a man can help me
And in the rock strainer
She labour like a diva
And some believe religion
Suspended animation
And there's a faster wrong punch
Into the balls of Satan

Am I way off, or are Borrowed Time absolute mentalists?

Indeed, though this kind of lyrics remind me of "She's As Beautiful As A Foot" or "Before The Kiss, A Redcap". Not only Pearlman, Meltzer was master, too. Or he still is.

Hahaha there are so many, the only ones I can think of rite now though are Van Halen - Runnin With the Devil

"I got no love, no love in Koreaaaa"

And Goat Horn - Goat Horn, beginning of the second verse: "I JERK OFF A FEW OF MY FRIENDS"

Stumbled across this amusing interpretation of Anthrax's 'Metal Thrashing Mad' on youtube earlier:

I remember as kids we've always sung to Assassin's "Assassin" refrain in german instead of "Go fight kill - Assassin" -> "Korb bleibt hier - ich ess es dann" (translated: leave the basket here - I'll eat it later).

And instead of Running Wild's "Raise your fist .... aaahhh" we've sung "Wasch deine Fiss ... Schwach" (Wash your feet ... Schwach)
Need to add "Schwach" was a guy from my town ...

It sounded that way.
Also one of Pokolgep's songs sounds like "Hot hot Hottentott ... Räuber Hotzenplotz"
