The original Quicksand Dream material (that you had uploaded if I remember correctly, there wasn't a myspace) really wasn't to my liking because it was way too conceptual and drew influences from way too many styles/places, which sounded confused and unfocused in my opinion.

Although, the description of this earlier material by Epic Irae has drawn my attention, at least the first two demos, so I'll give them a shot if they end up getting uploaded.

Cool stuff, hope the production / final mix is better than the first album (the only thing I don't like too much from the first album is the sound).
Also, are you going to record that MEGATON cover for the album???

Well, some self promotion now:

I play in a Heavy Metal band called ACERO LETAL, we will release an EP on pro-CD with five-six songs, and well, it has been delayed by almost a year, but it will be released. In the myspace there's a song uploaded from the single (released on xeroxed tape) and three videos: one from the same song, one cover of Cuero y Metal ("Escuadrón de la Muerte") and one excerpt from another song that's going to appear on the EP.

Here's the page: www.myspace.com/aceroletal

My current band, which I sing for... myspace.com/shadowselfmetal

We're getting better, I promise :P(tuning back to E standard, new drummer, new lead guitarist, new bassist...). I also have a few other projects in the works...

Victor from Sauron let me borrow you guys' tape, you fucking RULE.

And MEX, I haven't heard Voltax til today, and I suddenly want to own everything you've done.

This is basically what I'm trying to do with my band now, except with more of a old US Power Metal sound. We're going to sound a lot different soon, no modern-isms....

-METALHEADS UNITED split ep with HIRAX

Currently we work on our second album which is gonna be a concept album based on the novel "The Monk" by english author Lewis from the 19th century.
The Overtly Melancholic lord Strange from THE LAMP OF THOTH is coming to do some guest vocals on this new album.

We are about to record and mix between april and may 2010. So the album should be available in the last part of 2010.

There are four new songs uploaded on our MySpace site:

http://www.myspace.com/quicksanddream

Final Journey (doomy grande)
King of all Kings (galloping 'eavy metallico)
Beneath the Earth I Lay (ballad-schmallad, sob...)
Children of the World (hard rocker with a nice twist at the end)

Check it out if you have nothing better to do - maybe you won't regret it. :D

I've spoken to Patrick about this, he has made soundfiles of all three demos but still haven't all of the songs songs separated into individual tracks. Hopefully he'll do it some time soon. When that is finished I'll post all of the stuff in the Poisonoise section asap.
