Here's an obscure one I discovered today

KARIAN (US,TX) - Marching over / MORBID TERMINATION (US,TX) - Child of aggression

Both are demo bands!

GOOD WORK! Finally these scumbag rip-offs have been thwarted! Back then they never counted on technology progressing to the level of being able to switch so quickly between songs via MP3s(nor could their minds conceive anyone being able to afford two tape recorders).

;)

Black Shepherd's "Animal" -> "Countess Bathory".
Patareni's "Debilana" -> Black Shepherd's "Little Bitch".

Don't know if already posted: Hyades "Picture of a world" intro is exactly the same of Artilley "Khomaniac"

Also a double rip off, intro of Evil Sinner "Thrashers" = Metallica "For whom the bell tolls" (which has many similar parts to Angel Witch "Angel of death", this was already know by everybody, I guess !)

I went thru' the first few pages of this thread and I was surprised no one mentioned Diamond Head's "Am I evil?" and Celtic Frost's almost everything. :lol:

Recently I was listening to Wishbone Ash, and an Iron Maiden song comes to mind.
Ok, not exactly same riff, I just feel the opening of Wishbone Ash resembles certain parts of the IM song.

Can somebody tell me are both actually the ‘same’ song? :?
Carnivore -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UEz-_Y6g0Dw
Venom -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5IwcNs9bG6I

I love the new Overkill album. You must too. However, one of the songs from Overkill has riffs from Maiden. I didn't realise that until someone pointed it out on net.

I think it’s just me. Every time I listen to Riot’s Narita, I just can’t help thinking of a famous TV show that I used to watch when I was a kid. :lol:

Just compare the bridge right before the solo in Psychotic Waltz's "Into the Everflow" to the ending of Tytan's "The Watcher" ... 8)

I just put on that DEMON PACT lp on High Roller Rec. and it became instantly clear that the song "Demon Pact" is a deadringer for ANVIL's "Winged Assassins". Mostly. Or?
Oh yes, definitely. Question is, who came first?

Demon Pact 1980. Anvil must've been 1982-ish. The question is, did they perhaps play together?
