Infernal Death - INCANTATIONS OF THE GATES Demo 1989

What does everyone think of this demo? It gets a big write up on the Necromansy page but I think that's just Vasp hyping stuff up again. The samples I heard were promising.
Also can anyone provide me a good quality dub of this demo with photocopy of the insert? Trade available either for my zine/demo dub/VHS dub whatever. Thanks.

I do not think this is over hyped stuff (depends on taste of course). Its excellent evil black/death metal from times it was totally out to make such stuff (ca 1988/89). I think this demo is their only one and originally made in 50 copies. During last year one guy is selling self-made copies of the demo on ebay. I have seen several copies sold from same person. Be careful!

They recorded two more demos, but I haven't heard those. This one is very good.

I had heard it some time ago and as far as i can remember it wasn't anything spectacular. It sounded quite amateurish and a bit sloppy imo. Those two elements can always fascinate someone, not me though, especially on Infernal Death's case.

Yes, according to Metalarchives they made more stuff... I was not aware of these. Actually it was me who sent the demo scan and picture to Rick Vasp Necrogoat (I have this picture in colour + band biography/letter too). I think Metalarchive picture is taken from Necromansy page (the red mark is from my demo).

Fucking KILLER demo, the guitar tones cannot be matched
well perhaps by the likes of treblinka or poison, but the riffs then blow me away !
The necromansy page is not wrong.

Better and more evil than most new bands of recent years (Black/Death/Thrash)
Anyway - to be honest - i'm too tired to keep listening these type of demos.
Trad metal was and still is the right trench where to hide.

Please upload this demo from Infernal Death and any of the other material. I love those demos from Poison(Ger), Necrovore,Slaughter(Can),and the list just keeps going. Haha.
