1: A US Thrash classic I really should take out and listen to more often. Am I the only one who think they sound more German than American here? While the follower "Ticket To Mayhem" is more uneven, it still carries some superior songs, like "Walk The Plank" and "The Burning of Atlanta". Never really heard the later stuff? Should I check it out?

2: Generic US Power/Speed that never got my attention.

3: I had this one ages ago. There's probably a good reason why I traded it away. Hardly on my Italian Top 10 list.

Whiplash: classic written all over it. Insult to injury (3rd one) is a nice approach but cannot reach the intensity of the first one. I don't like the later releases that much.

Savage Steel: I must listen to this one more often to have an appropiate opinion about this one.

Sabotage: 50% = good and 50% is average to bad. There are 2 great songs on it.

1. A Top-10 thrash album. Their best track though lies in the second album and of course is Burning of Atlanta.

2. Average metal LP. This particular type of vocals is the one i really find annoying. The following album is even worse.

3. I'll agree with The Sentinel. A couple of great tracks, rest of the suff is average. Worth having it IMO.

Another random pick:

1. Recipients of death: "Same" (1988)
2. Arakain: Thrash the trash (1990)
3. Radium: Through the smoke 7" (1981)

1. I've never gotten around to check it out. Should I be ashamed?

2. A good Speedthrasher, definitely better than the 2nd LP. I had a listen to that CD with re-recorded old demos from the 80's and was a bit disappointed I must say. Pretty standard HM on that one. I'm missing 2 of the singles, so if anyone's up for a quick trade...

3. A NWOBHM-classic that cannot be overrated! "Angel Of Fear" is an absolute highlight of the genre, and I think you really can tell that they shared rehearsal space with The Mighty HELL. Don't suppose anyone has any demo material on CDR/mp3?

1) A great one, I love this one. One of the best Wild Rags Records release !

2) Quite average.

3) Good release. Heavier than most of the NWOBHM bands of that era.

Yes, you should, no, just kidding :D It's a great thrash release, unpolished and extremely raw, I think you'll like it...

Arakain: I heard it once and liked it. I still search it...

Radium: Indeed...A NWOBHM classic...saw it last time on ebay but forgot to bid. I never heard the demo's. Are they also great??

I've never actually heard about the existance of RADIUM demo material, so my comment was more of a question than a request. Anyone got more info?

I did several searches on the web about a Radium demo, I've found nothing about it.

For RECIPIENTS OF DEATH, also check their "Final Flight" EP, it's great too !!
