Yeah, I wish they would just release the box set first. Then they can do whatever they want!

collecting vintage metal magazines

This is something I've been thinking about a lot recently. I don't think I'd ever really "collect" them, but it would be nice to have some bathroom reading material. So, does anyone have any advice on getting some? Any particular magazines to look for? They don't have to be ultra-rare cult...

This is what the CIRITH UNGOL Webpage says, but i have the Liquid Flames Copy and it says clearly 1981 ! Popoff's HM-Price Guide says Liquid Flames in 1981 and Enigma in 1984 ! This seems more plausible to me ! I don't think that Enigma existed in 1981 ! My oldest Enigma Records where from 1983. Wh...

Does Metal Archives or some other site list albums by Year of Release? It's down now, but the advanced search at Metal-Archives lets you list all albums by year of release. However, even by 1980 it's going to return a lot of results. Also, Black Axe is right about those 2 albums. Death and Destiny ...

These sort of gimmicks are nothing new, though they are much more prevalent these days. Look at the Sodom 'Agent orange' box thing that came out years ago for an example. Haha. You mean the big metal can? I remember buying that back when it came out. I could never figure out where to keep it and fi...

It looks like Satan was taking a swim and Pegasus snatched his bathing suit and flew away. Now Satan's like "Hey, come back here with my Speedo!"

Nightsblood requested the High Treason tracks, so I'll upload the whole LP this time. Then you can hear the other bands too in their craptastic new-wave/ska glory. ;) First I'm going to clean it a bit and try to get rid of that skip in "The Siren Song".

I can do that, though I think one of the songs skips. Personally, I think the Ztorm song that I uploaded from that LP is better anyway.

I agree that this is an excellent LP. My favorite song is "Svedomí v nás", though the 2 you mentioned would probably be next. The last track is great too and should not be missed. I do find there are a couple weak tracks though, namely "Hrobník" and "Bohuzel". The bass ...

Dan, your description of "Ready for Battle" is exactly how I feel about the track "Vendetta". However, as you said, the whole EP is excellent and my favorite track only just barely stands out from the rest. BTW, does anyone else think that "When Heaven's at Hand" sounds...

Correction: You don't hear of many metal bands doing Mountain covers that aren't "Mississippi Queen" :P

I take it the OP already bought it?
