Re: STEEL ASSASSIN from Bay Area, circa 1986

He clearly said that he would be selling from the Stormspell webstore for one week only. First time he'd done it ages. He usually ships to CD baby and sells through there.

Re: Genres You Got Tired Of

Definitely has to be Black Metal for me. It was interesting at first, but then everyone was more concerned with being more "true" and posing in the forest. I also realized that the music just didn't seem to have any real "heaviness". There are some exceptions, like Dissection. No...

Re: 80's Metal fanzines - discussions/tips/page-feedback (CONTRIBUTORS WANTED!)

Just a little something I've noticed: the pdf's at the end of each page are compressed and turned into b/w, which makes stuff in colors really hard to read if you download that version. Maybe for the next batch it'd be better so save all the image files into a rar and rename it into a CBR, so maxim...

Also, Dan, could you put a "download as PDF" link on Blackthorn #7? Need to print out a physical copy to read on the shitter...ha! Much appreciated!

Re: 80's Metal fanzines - discussions/tips/page-feedback (CONTRIBUTORS WANTED!)

I see a stack of Blackthorn mag there! Is #7 included? Hope there's a priority on putting that one up, if so! "BLACKTHORN # 1, 4 - 8" says my inventory list, so yes, hopefully (at work now). I'll make it a priority then :) Thanks, Dan. That's awesome! Too much great stuff in that ...

I suppose, if you want one, get one. If you dont, then don't. Seems like alot of strife over something like a reissue.

Re: Neptune release their album after 30 years

Stop judging people by the way they look, that's what "other people" do with metal heads. Haven't heard the demos but the track on the Metal Knights compilation is great! Looking forward to a full length. ...and do keep us (me) posted on upcoming gigs, guys! /nollåtta Seconded. /skåning. ...

I wonder how this absurd idea came to your head! I think you are biased.
You could be right. I need to take a hard look at myself, just to see what kind of person I really am...

Re: Best-Favorite NWOBHM LPs ?

I strongly recommend to everyone to re-start reading from start to finish the book of Malc Mcmillan Just because he published a book doesn't mean that his opinion on the matter is any more valid then any one else's. I know quite a few that don't agree with the guy at all. Some even on this forum. I...

I'm finished with the argument. I stated my opinion, and stand by it. Good luck with the book!

] You might want to look up of the definition of "lambasting": http://www.dictionary.com/browse/lambasting Asking the actual guy that's involved in this project why he's chosen to go the book route while providing the benefits of the alternative has nothing to do with the term. I haven't b...

Re: "DemoLition" - forthcoming book on 80's demos

No, sir, I read your whole post. The "discouragement" comment was directed at everyone apparently getting upset over the guy doing this. I mainly quoted you because of the book format/website debate. I still buy magazines, fanzines and books on Metal. And I'll continue to do so, no matter...
