A large MÖTLEY CRUE-collection (vinyl) came in to the local record store the other day. Tons of bootlegs and many quite rare too, at least according to popsike and various sites I've checked out. Not the hottest band around here I guess, but if you have any wants I'll check and see what's there for ...

snaps: they continued as MANDATOR and those 2 albums are pretty easy to come by. If you enjoyed the demo you should pick them up.

These were ancient interviews I've read in some old 80's zines. Don't know if they're online. Maybe they softned up on the anti-Metal thing later..

Kinda semi-offtopic, but it's always fun reading those early MAYHEM-interviews where they totally slag classic Heavy Metal (Maiden, Priest etc..). Considering how much Respect For The Elders there is in the BM-scene you'd think the kids would follow suit.

I always got the impression RCR were legit. I think one of the guys running it is an old LWSInc member with many old friends in the Dutch scene, but I could be wrong. I agree they are a bit minimalistic, but they sell them really cheap, so it can't all be for profitable reasons. If you listen closel...

Played the clips - grrreat, crunchy, heavy hardrockmetal! I guess I both miss the more melodic vocals of the ancient single and really dig the more raw, "Lemmyish" vocals of the album. Thumbs up for the crisp yet raw production - just the way I like it. Luw the wild rehearsal-room sound of...
