Re: Now Playing Thread
A listen inspired by https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cnV6wlRPMwg&t=6718s: http://e.snmc.io/i/300/w/ab8af63e5a834a57ce27ae5d9ec7e5ac/1783481 This sounds a lot punkier than you perhaps stated in a review, DaN. It's with R'N'R Rendez-Vous where my attention takes off and is maintained until the end...

Re: GOOD YouTube channels?
Finally I have made it to the end. If you ask me, Alan and DaN, you should do it for a lot of countries separately. There was no Spain or Portugal, no Norway, only one Finnish record (where are SARCOFAGUS, for f..k sake), no Switzerland, no Eastern Europe, no DETEST, LOL, no Greece, either. Next tim...

Re: Which Concert Will You Attend Next?
That's great that you got to make the dream a reality Nenad, and i'm happy to hear that they lived up to your expectations. Did they play 'Then Came The Last Days Of May'? Yes, indeed they played it. As this was their first ever Slovenia concert, they played all their most popular songs sans 'Astro...

Re: Which Concert Will You Attend Next?
Almost forgot:
Blue Öyster Cult few days ago. A dream come true, actually I didn't believe I will ever see them live. Killer live band, Buck "Dharma" can still do solos on his knees, of course Richie Castellano is the most vivid member, as he's the youngest of the bunch.

More and more frequent at my HQ, too. And very varied at the same time.bigfootkit wrote: ↑Sun Aug 27, 2023 5:55 amThe Americans call this a 'senior moment'. I have them about 20 times a day.

MC5, PATTO, NEW BOMB TURKS, BACKYARD BABIES ... how much history ignored and missed.
Still cannot help myself not to wonder, how many, many tracks sound better in a compilation / mix environment like this than on an album.

Graham, thanks for adding these in advance, but that's not a major problem, it is that I don't have time to listen to it. But even in a dream I couldn't imagine Ivor Cutler being part of the mix.

There, in the middle of selection, are SILVERHEAD - Rolling With My Baby. Before that, there is killer instrumental which I can not put title on, sadly.

Re: 80's Metal fanzines - discussions/tips/page-feedback (CONTRIBUTORS WANTED!)
The Corroseum's Metal fanzine archive recently reached the 1000+ featured issues benchmark! Surely a cause of celebrations :D ...and there's still plenty of zines just waiting on my hd to be added and keep the archive growing. A HUGE thanx for all scanning/lending/hoarding contributors through the ...

Re: (Metal) Recordstores in Stockholm ?
Graham, I have actually found the bags I was talking about, I can't believe I actually preserved them. Vinil Manija bags came in various colors, but I don't think this was intentional. More like, the print color you want is unavalaible, d'ya fancy some purple? And kudos to DaN for heads up regarding...

Re: 70's-early-80's Hard Rock singles from former Yugoslavia.
Well, I've contacted Dejan. The band info is written in his language (croation?), the basic info of the records in english. Those 25 Euro price of the book did incl. free shipping to Germany. I told him to consider to write band info in english too. I guess there are alot of guys who'd like to get ...

VARVAR rereleased, this is really good and incredible news.
And While VARVAR and MAGNIT are getting rereleased, SLAYER lps are being bootlegged. World is trully unhinged.
