I've been listening to X-Creta's "Patronizing The Heterodox" and is amazing!
I don't know if call them crossover though, it reminded me a lot to early Bulldözer, crazy speedy metal with some punkish dirt. Great anyway, so thanks a lot for that reccomendation!

Lately I've been listening a lot to Black Hole (Land Of Mystery) and Autopsy (Mental Funeral). I going through some hard emotional times, and even though some of the members here say otherwise, metal is really helping me to get through it (sounds emo, but is true).

I can't believe I forgot to mention my all time favorite Crossover band (and one of my favorite bands ever), The Accüsed. I guessed I was just trying to be more "weird", hehe. They never released a bad album.

What I mean is that death is terminal by definition, is pretty much like saying painful pain or something like that. Still Necrodeath is way more stupid, but those name still sound cool, more for guys like me who can take our distance from the meaning and just appreciate the form and the sound.

Terminal Death could be in the stupid name thread. It might sound cool but what the hell is supposed to mean?

Well, I've just heard the first DBC album and that one is Crossover to me, but then again, the term "Crossover" isn't as solid as others. Oh, and about crust, well, if we include that into Crossover we could mention Amebix, Antisect, Concrete Sox for example. As I said, when I hear the &qu...

Sacrilege, fuck yeah! And Détente of course!
Early to mid Suicidal is great, but I was looking for more "obscure" bands. About Crumbsuckers, I liked the first album, but the second I found it to be average and boring.
A lot of names have been thrown, I'm gonna have to investigate. Thanks.

Of course, Wehrmacht, Cryptic Slaughter, Septic Death, I love all those bands, but they don't come to my mind when I talk about Crossover. I was thinking bands more like Ratos De Porao, for example, you know, when the harcore element is more in the vein of Poison Idea or Cro-Mags. I'm gonna check ou...

Cult Crossover

Since we've been talking a lot about Thrash lately, I was wondering if there are some "cult" Crossover bands. I like a lot this genre when done right, but most of the bands are just superficial and cheesy metal. Are there more "cult" and serious bands in this genre (by serious do...

I love the lyrics from the song Dead by Autopsy, it just says:

"Dead.
Stiff And Cold
In Your Box
To Decay.
Dead."

Is very dry, and maybe lacks any imagination, but it suits the music perfectly.

Hey, Omen, thanks a lot for saving me the frustrating task of uploading Terminal Death with the crappy connection I have access to (even though you steal my oportunity of looking good in front of The Boss).
I reccomend highly that demo, I was listening to it yesterday, it's a killer!
