Savatage is a legendary group. Most of their albums are quite notable and some of them are must for every metal fan. I agree with mordred that their best period is 1987 - 1993. I think "Hall of the mountain king" is their best album. "Gutter Ballet" and "Edge of Thorns"...

In the beggining I thought it was a split CD but after a short look to metal archives I realized that Vice was the pre-The Kill band. I like very much The Kill stuff but I have never heared something from Vice. I must check out this release!
