Are you still waiting for this? I have it, but I don't have a scanner. I could try taking a photo if that would be good enough, or I could try to scan it at work on Monday.

Re: The Bathory Poll

For me, it's Hammerheart, because it's one of the best epic records. What I like the most is the CRUSHING GUITAR SOUND throughout the songs. "One Rode To Asa Bay" and "Shores In Flames" are on par with Manilla Road's and Manowar's best epic tracks. Couldn't have said it better m...

I'm surprised! I guess you didn't recognise Kim La Chance in the middle there, eh?

I will always worship the holy German trinity: Sodom, Kreator, and Destruction!

Another favorite thrash band of mine that hasn't been mentioned is Atrophy.

Just remembered this one:

Skyclad – Emerald (Thin Lizzy)

Also, I think I prefer Sacred Rite's cover of Eleanor Rigby to the Realm version. Anyone else?

Add me to the list of people who find Slough Feg to be overrated. Not bad at all but I much prefer Scalzi’s other band, Hammers of Misfortune. I heard HoM first and immediately wanted to hear what Slough Feg was like, but I was disappointed. So that’s where I’m coming from. As for Zone Zero and Crys...

Off the top of my head:

Legend - From the Fjords
Hell - Land of the Living Dead

They have other High Roller Records releases as well which are most likely boots.

Thank you very much! Great stuff, though not as good as their official releases. That version of Getting Hotter sounds more like a pre-release demo than something they recorded 2 years later. Does the boot actually provide any information about the demo, or are they just stuck on the end of the othe...

Starting in Massachussets and ending debating power metal from almost everywhere else in USA ... now that's what I call distraction. To concentrate on the topic I have to admit that Enter The Darkness from debut is a real killer but the rest of album doesn't share its greateness. I have a friend wh...
