Heavy Metal Huntingrounds?
Haven't been shopping since record stores don't get any metal vinyl these days. Now there's an issue that deserves its own thread. What's the Heavy Metal Hunting situation like in your town/country? Can you still score good vinyl for decent prices or are you lucky if you find the new PRIEST CD at t...

Welcome KW
That's quite a load of work you have before you. I can contribute with this jpg of an ancient poster from an old BRATS-gig which actually features King! It's an interresting piece, since it shows that the band recruited KD before the name change to Mercyful Fate.

Welcome to the board, Keir! Yeah, I did some googling this morning and found a review which also claimed these 4 were the only releases by the label. It's a pity coz it's an awesome name for a record label and they seemed to have good taste. I think I need to make myself a Mongol Horde Rec t-shirt s...

Mongol Horde Records
Anyone have a full index of this label? I have 4 releases by this label and I like them all: ALIEN, TAKASHI, VIRGIN STEELE and THOR (especially ALIEN & THOR - excellent US Hard Rocking Metal both of 'em). Anyone know of any other releases? I'm thinking maybe I should do a Mongol Horde-special fo...

NOCTURNUS
I played "The Key" for the first time in ages the other day and remembered why I was such a fan of the band back in the early 90's. NOCTURNUS were one of those bands who fell through the cracks of the genres. Too sophisticated for many Death Metal fans, too brutal for the Power/Epic/Prog M...
